David Silva: “I will miss everything – even the weather”

Manchester City midfielder David Silva made his farewell appearance in the blue uniform yesterday (Sunday), at least in the Premier League, which played 85 minutes in his team’s 5: 5 victory over Norwich in the final round of the season. Silva, who arrived at the Etihad Stadium a decade ago, was honored when he was substituted towards the end of the game and in the absence of the crowd received great love from his friends.

Coach Pep Guardiola said after the game: “It was the weakest ‘sentimenting’ of all time. He will get what he deserves in the future. The players showed their gratitude to David for all these amazing years, we just want to thank him.”

The 34-year-old Silva has won 11 trophies in ten seasons in the City uniform including four Premier League championships and yet can end his career at the club with the sweetest moment, winning the Champions League. “Winning so many titles with the way we won makes me a lucky guy. I had a lot of nice moments. I will miss everything – even the weather. I hope we can win the Champions League, too bad we have to play without fans but the safety of the people is the most important thing , “Said the Spaniard.
