Coronavirus Toscana, the bulletin: three women die. Four new infections


Florence, 2 July 2020 – There are three new deaths from coronavirus in Tuscany. The Region reported in the daily bulletin of Thursday 2 July. Four new infections have also been reported in the last 24 hours. These are the data, which tell how the total cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the infection are 10,258. Three deaths

The three people who died are three women with an average age of 73.3 years. Two of the deaths concern the province of Florence and one the province of Massa Carrara. I’m 1,109 died from the beginning of the epidemic divided as follows: 407 in Florence, 51 in Prato, 81 in Pistoia, 167 in Massa Carrara, 141 in Lucca, 89 in Pisa, 61 in Livorno, 47 in Arezzo, 33 in Siena, 24 in Grosseto, 8 people died on the ground Tuscan but were resident outside the region.

The cases province by province

Below are the cases of positivity in the area with the change compared to yesterday. People in isolation

Altogether, 310 people are in solitary confinement at homebecause they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free (plus 5 compared to yesterday, plus 1.6%). I’m 1,602 (minus 272 compared to yesterday, minus 14.5%) people, also isolated, in active surveillance, because they had contacts with infected people (Asl Centro 486, Nord Ovest 1.076, Sud Est 40).

Only 14 in hospital

The number of people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients today is 14, 4 less than yesterday (minus 22.2%), of which 3 in intensive care (2 less than yesterday, minus 40%). It is the lowest point since March 4, 2020 for intensive care. It is the lowest point reached since March 3, 2020 for total hospitalizations.
