30 thousand deaths in Mexico
Mexico has surpassed 30,000 deaths for Covid-19, thus overcoming France with the fifth highest death toll since the start of the pandemic. The country has in fact recorded another 5,914 coronavirus-confirmed deaths, bringing the national total to 30,366. Total infections increased by nearly 6,000 to 251,165, roughly on par with Spain, the eighth largest budget in the world. Also on Saturday, some 200 street vendors briefly blocked several main streets in central Mexico City to ask that they be allowed to sell on the streets again. Since March the city has banned this informal trade and closed most of its activities to stem the spread of the new virus. Protest vendors carried placards and sang slogans that claimed they could no longer endure the blockade and its economic consequences.
Galicia: 70 thousand in lockdown

The sick have also doubled and are now 3,594. Deaths have almost tripled, from 7 to 19. The absolute majority of these cases are in the West Bank, while in Gaza the situation remains under control.
Second wave in Iran
In Iran, 163 deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours, a new record that brings the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 11,571. The Ministry of Health of Tehran has made it known. Out of nearly two million swabs, 2,560 tested positive, raising the total number of infections to 240,438. There are 3,168 people in critical condition, and 201,330 people recovered.
The Iranian authorities have sanctioned the obligation of masks in public places and shopping centers, starting today.
Lockdown in the capital of Madagascar
Two months after loosening the measures, Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, is once again in isolation due to a new surge in infections.
