Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who is convicted in the US for killing 3 people and injuring 264 others during the 2013 Boston Marathon, may not be executed. He has won the appeal against his death penalty and the sentence must now be redefined.

The appeal judge ruled that the conviction of ‘Boston Bomber’ Tsarnaev was justified before the attack, but that he was entitled to a retrial to determine the sentence.

In the ruling, the court immediately made it clear that Dzhokhar is far from winning a game: “Make no mistake, he will remain in prison for the rest of his days. All that remains to be determined is whether he will die by execution. ”
