In recent weeks there has been a lot of discussion about Gareth Bale’s situation at Real Madrid. The Welshman barely took any action since the restart of La Liga. He just stood out with his fools on the couch – with his mouth mask over his eyes pretending to take a nap – and with his obvious lack of enthusiasm during the title celebration. However, his broker suggests that Bale plans to take out his two-year deal even if he remains on the couch.
Bale’s situation is also strange for his teammates. “We cannot ignore the fact that the current situation is frustrating for everyone”, Toni Kroos says honestly in the podcast Bugging. “He certainly has not come to Madrid to play as little as now. But the situation is not as extreme now as many make them. Within the team everything is okay.”
Kroos did come up with a striking statement. “I think Bale basically wanted to leave last summer (Jiangsu Suning made him a lucrative offer, ed.) And the club first agreed, but then he didn’t. I don’t know, but maybe he’s still upset about that. It is a difficult subject. ”
