Anderlecht is still looking for an extra option on the flanks and CEO Karel Van Eetvelt is thinking of Percy Tau. However, there is still no agreement about a possible rental of the South African and so Anderlecht seems to be exploring other slopes as well. For example, it may well continue to push for another African.
In recent weeks, Anderlecht has already been linked to Isaac Atanga and according to SPORTSworldGhana Purple & White has really made a goal of the arrival of the 20-year-old Ghanaian. He has had an excellent season at FC Nordsjaelland, with which he finished in sixth place in the Danish league. Atanga himself scored seven goals and four assists in 25 matches.
Thanks to those achievements, Atanga was already linked to several other clubs, including Club Brugge, Rangers, Feyenoord and Alaves. However, Anderlecht now seems to be the most concrete option, because the Ghanaian report makes no mention of those other clubs. Atanga has a value of 1.3 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
