The easter egg in question was tracked down by the Twitter user known as GermanStrands: during an underwater mission of the main Uncharted 4 campaign, the PS4 user stumbled upon one skeleton which, lying on the seabed, has lost its head and has a sponge (or coral) instead of the skull.
Scrolling through the photos taken by the player, it is really impossible not to grasp the similarity between this skeleton and one of many infected Clicker that populate the universe of The Last of Us and its next chapter.
Naughty Dog’s Environment Artist, Anthony Vaccaro, wanted to take pictures published by GermanStrands and congratulated the Twitter user for discovering this easter egg, declaring that “I think it’s the first time I’ve seen anyone post photos of this fun easter egg that I developed working on Uncharted 4 online. So thin and well hidden easter eggs are a lot of fun to include”.
While we’re at it, we remind you that The Last of Us Part 2 is scheduled for launch for the next year June 19 exclusively on PS4. Everyeye.it’s review of Naughty Dog’s latest post-apocalyptic blockbuster will be online starting June 12. In the meantime, if you want to retrace the exploits of Nathan Drake, here you will find a video on the 10 unforgettable moments of the Uncharted series.
