Weather forecast, thunderstorms arriving in the center and in Campania


ROME – Bad weather extends across the peninsula. The perturbation taking place over much of northern Italy tomorrow will bring bad weather to the central peninsular regions and Campania. Based on the forecasts, the Department of Civil Protection in agreement with the regions involved, which is responsible for activating the civil protection systems in the territories concerned, has issued a new warning of adverse weather conditions, which supplements and extends the previous one.ALL FORECASTS FOR THE NEXT DAYS

The weather phenomena, impacting on the various areas of the country, could determine hydrogeological and hydraulic criticalities which are reported, in a national summary, in the national criticality and alert bulletin available on the Department website. The warning, as the Civil Protection does, from the early hours of tomorrow, rainfall from scattered to diffuse, including reversed or thunderstorms, over Umbria, Lazio, Marche, Campania, Abruzzo and Molise, especially in the central-western sectors. The phenomena will be accompanied by heavy showers, frequent electrical activity, hailstorms and strong gusts of wind.Forecasts weather in the big cities

On the basis of current and expected phenomena, the regions Friuli Venezia Giulia and Liguria have raised, for the day today, Sunday 7 June, the alert level that changes from yellow to orange on most of the basins. Tomorrow an orange alert was assessed on the entire territory of Lombardy and Friuli Venezia Giulia and yellow alert in Veneto, Liguria, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzo, Campania and Molise.
