The grenade midfielder, back from a serious injury to his right knee (sprain trauma with partial injury of the anterior cruciate ligament) remedied in training at Philadelphia, will be operated on. Torino announced on its website that after the specialist orthopedic consultation the player underwent today in Bologna with Professor Stefano Zaffagnini, surgical treatment was chosen. Therefore, the need to cure the problem to avoid relapses prevailed. The intervention was scheduled for Monday 8 June at the Toniolo Clinic in Bologna. Heavy news for the Bull who will have to give up Baselli until next season: in fact, approximately 6 months of stoppage are expected. Number eight will be able to return to competitive activity in late autumn.
