174 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours in Italy, one less than yesterday. Over half, 97, are still in Lombardy, which remains the most affected region. The currently positive are 16,881 (yesterday 16,836). There are 22 deaths, against the 8 that yesterday had recorded the historical minimum since March 1st.

The number of ICU patients remains below 100 units: they are 98, one more than yesterday. The people hospitalized instead with mild symptoms or in the absence of symptoms are 1,160, a hundred less than yesterday; those in home isolation number 15,423 (-1,413 compared to yesterday). The healed are 188,891 in total (yesterday the figure was 188,584). The total number of cases registered so far in Italy amounts to 240,310 (yesterday 240,136). The total number of swabs rose to 5,314,619, an increase of 37,346.

The regions with 0 increase in total cases are today Basilicata, Molise, Umbria, Sicily, Valle d’Aosta, Puglia, Campania and Marche. One more case in Calabria, Sardinia, Abruzzo, Autonomous Province of Bolzano and Friuli Venezia Giulia; three cases in the Autonomous Province of Trento, 4 in Liguria, 5 in Tuscany, 11 in Veneto, 14 in Lazio and Piedmont, 21 in Emilia Romagna.
