Will it be that of 2020? Or will 2003 remain unrepeatable? Obviously we are talking about absolutely extreme weather conditions, on which there would be hundreds or perhaps thousands of articles to write.
Experts now speak of “climate catastrophe”, in fact, global warming shows no sign of slowing down and it gets worse every year. We must not think only of Italy, or perhaps of Europe. We have to think about the planet, because maybe while Europe is experiencing an autumn-like period, in other areas of the world it is absurdly hot. Without going too far, the coolness that is sweeping large areas of the old continent is translating into an anomalous heat explosion over Eastern Europe and even Russia.
The HOT SUMMER is about to arrive with HOT record
Some time ago an article appeared on Siberia and on the heat outside any logic of the month of May. Here, these are the elements that must worry us, then clearly there may be periods during which positive anomalies give way to anomalies of opposite sign.
So watch out for Summer, because apparently in a few weeks you will start talking about other things. The second half of June will probably put us in front of the reality: the African anticyclone.
The race against time to save SUMMER 2020
African anticyclone that risks bringing us the first severe heat waves. Then of course, history does not repeat itself and what has happened so far means that 2003 is already unrepeatable. At the time, remember, the hot summer started in May and ended in October. This year, for now, we have seen little or no heat.
This does not mean that the extreme climatic weather can bring us shorter but worse red hot flares. Here, this is what worries, as well as the fact that according to some seasonal model, the months of July and August may offer us a permanent African High Pressure. Then yes that something exceptional could happen. Seasonal models say so, but it is a hypothesis that we can consider plausible in light of other climatic elements that we analyze daily.
