The curtain rises on Cowboy 3: new eBike with carbon strap and removable battery


Cowboy has raised the curtain on the third generation of electric bikes, designed to face the obstacles of urban mobility. The new Cowboy 3 introduces numerous updates compared to the previous model, among which the transmission system stands out Gates Carbon Drive carbon belt that ensures resistance up to 30,000 km maintenance free.

Cowboy 3 features a single-gear transmission ratio, created to make it easier to use on busy city streets. Ascents and descents will be automatically calibrated allowing a smooth and fatigue-free driving.

Looking closer Cowboy 3 you can see an elegant aluminum frame, available in three different colors, which gives the bike a weight of 16.9 kg including battery. The eBike is equipped with a 250 W nominal hub motor that guarantees a maximum speed of 25 Km / h, clearly respecting the regulations for racing on European roads. For braking, Cowboy relies instead on Tektro hydraulic disc brakes.

The 360 ​​Wh battery is hidden in the frame and is easily removable for a refill, according to the data provided by the manufacturer, the autonomy reaches up to 70 Km on one charge. Cowboy 3 mounts puncture-proof tires with optional mudguards and a front LED lighting system, which can be activated via a touch control on the frame, and on the back, which flashes with every deceleration.

Thanks to the proprietary app Cowboy 3 is able to unlock the bike when you get in the saddle without pulling your smartphone out, report a possible theft when the e-bike is moved, call an emergency number if it detects an accident, for example after a sudden stop.

Cowboy 3 is on sale for the price of 2,290 euros, shipping costs included, with an expected delivery period for Italy of 8 weeks and includes a 2 year warranty with the manufacturer.
