Ryanair flights depart from Bologna airport


Ryanair’s flights to and from Bologna “Marconi” airport resumed today, after the emergency phase linked to the spread of the coronavirus. Overall, the operation of the Irish company at the Emilia airport includes a total of 51 routes: 8 national and 43 international. In detail, explains a note from the Bologna airport, flights to London-Stansted, Catania, Palermo, Brindisi, Bari, Brussels-Charleroi, Ibiza, Alghero and Trapani have now been reinstated, while tomorrow the route to Lamezia Terme and Tuesday connections to Barcelona-El Prat, Madrid, Valencia, Cagliari. From the first of July Ryanair will increase the number of routes and their frequency, as an integral part of the operation for the summer season that has just begun.To mark the return of Ryanair’s connections, the flight landed this morning from Brindisi and welcomed by the President of Bologna Airport, Enrico Postacchini and the “Business Aviation and Communication” director of the airport, Antonello Bonolis. “We are proud to be able to resume connections for summer 2020 and to contribute to the recovery of the economy and regional tourism”, notes Chiara Ravara, Ryanair’s head of international communication.
