Ram, the second limited series ‘Built to Serve’ arrives – Trials and News


Ram launched the second series of ‘Built to Serve’ limited edition trucks, which honor troops served America. Available in five different packages, each of which symbolizes one of America’s land, air or sea military branches, it brings unique visual touches inside and out and is compatible with all the body styles and engines of the Ram 1500.

Limited to 1,000 units each, the second series features the exterior colors Ceramic Gray and Patriot Blue, complete with Light Ambassador Blue accents in the interior. Other paints for the 1500s ‘Built to Serve’ include Gator, Diamond Black, Anvil, Billet Silver, Tank and Flame Red, while the production of Spitfire and Bright White will be limited to 500 each. The trucks are decorated with the United States flag, the word ‘Built to Serve’ on the rear panels and have black trim on the grille, bumpers, badges, side steps, double tailpipes and 20-inch aluminum wheels.

The interior continues to pay homage to the military with exclusive finishes, accentuated by the corresponding colored stitching called Light Frost, Light Diesel Gray, Light Ambassador Blue, Core Green and Orange. Each front seat is equipped with ‘Built to serve’ embroidered velcro panels.

The ‘Built to Serve’ dashboard nameplate, fabric and vinyl upholstery, onyx black interior lining, lockable storage compartment and floor mats for any weather are also part of the construction. Each truck is 4ΕΎ4, including the rear differential with electronic locking, the front suspension protection skid plates, the steering box, the fuel tank and the transfer box, the calibrated off-road shock absorbers for heavy vehicles, downhill control , tow hooks and off-road tires.
