Plug In Digital and Pixel Reef have announced their arrival on PC of Paper Beast, the latest effort of genius Eric Chahi. The exit period should be this summer, even if an exact date has not been provided.
Additionally, Paper Beast is no longer an exclusive PS4 title with PSVR, as had been believed to date. However, even on PC, a VR viewer will be required to play: HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or Valve Index.
If you want more information on the game, read our review of Paper Beast in which Tommaso Pugliese wrote:
Paper Beast is pure experimentation, for better or for worse. Let’s imagine that this game is the result of a first contact between Eric Chahi and virtual reality: the extraordinary skills of the French game designer immediately allowed him to pack an original and fascinating system, applied to a world of his own, suggestive and certainly able to excite in some moments. However, the experience keeps a low profile for its entire duration, and so the high notes make us think about what this project could have been with more resources and some more attention to the gameplay, which pays duty due to the few options and the excessive cumbersome controls.
