Opel Mokka-e: for the first time the fully electric version immediately at launch


The New Opel Mokka-e is based on the electric engine already tested by other cars of the PSA group. Able to reach i 100 kW of power and with a pair of 260 Nm, powered by a battery from 50 kWh. Opel guarantees autonomy up to 322 km in the WLTP cycle and recharging with a power up to 100 kW, or up to three-phase 11 kW in the case of recharging in alternating current. The warranty of the battery, as always happens for this type of vehicles, of 8 years.

For the first time for the Mokka series, therefore, we have a model fully electric immediately at launch. As far as Opel was concerned, it had only happened once more, or in the case of Opel Corsa-e.

Opel declares an energy consumption (mixed cycle) of 16.5 – 16.8 kWh / 100 km, 0 emissions. Moreover, at a DC fast charger (100 kW), 80% of the charge can be reached in 30 minutes. At the heart of Mokka-e is the powerful 100 kWh lithium-ion battery. The 216 high energy density cells with advanced heat management last a long time and guarantee considerable autonomy, increased by the Enhanced Regenerative Braking.

The three driving modes of Opel Mokka-e

Mokka-e capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km / h in 8.1 seconds and to reach a maximum speed of 150 km / h. This is possible thanks to the engines from 136 HP, synchronous type with permanent magnets. In addition, Mokka-e offers the modalities Sport, Eco and Normal, which regulate the settings of various vehicle systems, such as shift times, pedal mapping, electric power steering and cooling.

Exteriors and interiors

Mokka with this generation is completely renewed. As for the externalin fact, we will find the new front Opel Vizor. But the vehicle is also renewed in the interior, presenting more minimalistic lines and highlighting technology. In fact, it welcomes two 10 and 12 inch screens, with the central display slightly inclined towards the driver.
