A squat that has grown over time, occupied in May 2001, in a structure in its time in the most total degradation. Hence the first works and then dozens of initiatives (punk and hardcore concerts, techno and electronic music evenings) through which it has developed over time to become the home of some belonging to the terrorist theme ‘Cell Santiago Maldonado – Informal Anarchist Federation – International Revolutionary Front‘.

Right here, in May 2019, a three day event was organized to celebrate 18 years of occupation with debates and concerts. “No bundles, no cops, no sexists“, indicated the flyer of the event with the proceeds which was then used as “benefits for anarchists, prisoners and suspects affected by repression in Italy and worldwide“.

Just at Bencivenga, in July 2014, the Digos of the Rome Police Headquarters arrested Xabier Gonzalez Sola, a 39-year-old Spanish citizen. The man, an anarcho-insurrectionist militant, was hit by a European Arrest Warrant issued last March 11 by the Central Tribunal responsible for Terrorism of the Audiencia Nacional. The man was accused by the Iberian authorities of belonging to a subversive association called “Collective Black Flag” (KBN) as well as possession of explosive material and apology for a crime.

Just in via Generale Roberto Bencivenga the Carabinieri del Ros arrived at the first light of today and, in the framework of Operation Bialystok, stopped five occupants in the squat (with two other people tracked abroad).

Those arrested are held responsible for “association for the purpose of terrorism or subversion of the democratic order, act of terrorism with deadly and explosive devices, possession and port of explosive material, instigation to commit crimes against the personality of the State, as well as fire and damage aggravated by the purpose of terrorism and subversion of the democratic order“.

According to investigators, the anarcho-insurrectionist cell of Rome, based in the Occupied Bencivenga, is responsible for the attack on the police station of San Giovanni, carried out on 7 December 2017 and claimed by the terrorist acronym ‘Cell Santiago Santiago Maldonado – Informal Anarchist Federation – Front International Revolutionary ‘.

Among the septa blocked today, under house arrest, a 35-year-old Roman, believed to be responsible for the triple arson attack that took place in Rome on 28 February 2019, against the car sharing cars ‘Eni Enjoy’, ended up claimed on the web in ” solidarity with all detained anarchists “and in the context of the aversion to the multinational Eni, accused, according to the group” of devastating the Earth “, as” Eni kills and pollutes in Italy and abroad “. Fires that started in 2017.

The “nonchalance “with which the 7 anarcho-insurrectionists acted” can be seen from the ease with which they coordinate acts for the purpose of terrorism, creating a dense network of strength, including youth, on which to count for the attacks of ‘tip“‘The gip of Rome writes in the order with which he ordered the arrests of the anarchist cell dismantled in the operation of the Carabinieri of the R.O.S. under the coordination of the Prosecutor.
