Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000, debut in September more and more likely

Last week in the world of video cards held
bench the heatsink of the GeForce RTX 3080 (and other high-end models
of the future Ampere range), a particular solution of considerable size,
a sign that video cards will offer a lot of power, but they will also require a
properly sized cooling system to avoid temperatures
excessive. You can see it in

this news
and in

this other
, as well as in

renderings made by enthusiasts
on the possible appearance of the card
final video.

According to the latest rumors of
Igor’s Lab, that
heatsink would be only one of the two currently evaluated by Nvidia, in sight
of the official debut of the new offer in September. Other sources
claim that Nvidia would also be thinking of a triple fan heatsink.

It is therefore not said that what we have seen will be definitively adopted, in that
according to a schedule of possible launch times, Nvidia will take one
final decision only in July. This is a step-based estimate
observed by the US manufacturer for previous generations of cards,
not a real “leak”.
As for the boards, Igor’s Lab believes that
we will see an RTX 3090 (and not an RTX 3080 Ti or a Titan) with a Total Board
Power – therefore the whole board, not only the GPU – of as much as 350W in
virtue of a 230W GPU and 24 GB of GDDR6X memory.

Second
Videocardz, such information
– although slightly
disguised to protect the source – they would be real, provided by Nvidia ai
partner at the start of development. Take it all with due caution, they are
rumors, if not the date of announcement: September appears a month more and more
probable for the debut of the first GeForce RTX “Ampere” solutions.
