New Fiat 500: the genesis of one-offs

Hymn to style – At the time of revealing the Fiat 500 electric, whose arrival on the market is expected in the autumn, three unique specimens were announced made with as many Italian fashion and design brands: the Armani 500 is gray in color and has seats in gray-colored leather (union between gray and beige), Bulgari’s stands out for its striking orange paint and the Kartell brand is in blue with a mirror effect, with external parts in recycled polycarbonate. These collaborations represent a tribute to Made in Italy and have asked for a long phase of development, carried out by the Turin-based Style Center with the creatives of the three partner brands. The documentary below tells the process of developing these among unique specimens.

MODERN, BUT ALWAYS ICONIC – La New Fiat 500 re-proposes the iconic forms of the first generation of 1957, taken in turn from the second generation of 2007, but reworked in a modern key: the wider bodywork gives the car a greater presence, emphasized by cared details, such as the headlights partially carved from the hood or recess in place of the handles, where you can insert your hand to snap the electronic lock. The dashboard is horizontally developed and integrates a soft element that goes from one side to the other, above which the 10.3 ” screen of the multimedia system is cantilevered. Below are the air vents and the “piano” keys that control the air conditioning.

ELECTRIC ONLY – La New Fiat 500 it will only be electric, with a 118 HP engine that moves the front wheels and promises a ‘0-100’ in 9.0 seconds, while the declared autonomy is 320 km.
