Mourning cinema, Batman director Joel Schumacher dead. Farewell to the visionary author of many successful films.
He inherited the Batman saga from Tim Burton and created Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. But many of his films deserve to be mentioned in his long and glorious career. Schumacher was 80 years old and passed away in New York after a long battle with cancer.

His best films include In line with the killer (all set inside a telephone booth), 8mm Red light crime with Nicholas Cage, the unforgettable A day of ordinary madness with a memorable Michael Douglas, the transposition from Girsham’s novels The Client and The Moment to Kill.
The last film before the illness was Trespass in 2011. Since then, he has been unable to shoot anything.
