According to a reporter, Emre Kaya from The Cinema Spot, Microsoft would be interested inacquisition of Warner Bros. Games, the AT&T gaming division that manages brands such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Batman and Mortal Kombat, to name a few of the bigger ones.
Kaya, who has proven to have valid contacts in Warner Bros. in the past, wrote on Twitter: “I hope Microsoft ends up buying WB Games“, then posting one in response to his own tweet GIF quite eloquent.
The other competitors who took the field to purchase Warner Bros. Games would be Take Two, Activision Blizzard and Electronic Arts, as reported by CBNC over the weekend.
Consider that the acquisition of WB Games would mean taking home, in addition to the licenses for the exploitation of very important intellectual properties, also developers of enormous value and ability such as Traveler Tales, Rocksteady, Avalanche and NetherRealms. They would really be a great addition to anyone who manages to conclude the deal.
