Mef: record orders for syndicated BTP, at over 85 billion – Economy


Strong orders for the 10-year syndicated BTP, expiring on 1st December 2030, announced yesterday by the Mef. According to market sources, the requests book records over € 85 billion. Mps estimates that the bond will be placed at a rate of 12 basis points in addition to the reference yields of 0.95. The mandate for the placement was entrusted by the MEF to BNP Paribas, Citigroup, HSBC France, Monte dei Paschi di Siena, NatWest Markets and UniCredit.

ORDERS OVER 100 BILLION Orders for the 10-year syndicated BTP announced yesterday by the MEF go up again. According to market sources, after the start in strong growth, they passed the the 100 billion euro threshold. The rate is now given at 9 basis points above the reference rates.
