Juventus Market: rumors about Ronaldo, “record offer” for CR7

Market rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo, which exploded during the pandemic stop period, did not stop in Spain. According to the indiscretions reported by the Iberian media, in particular by Don Balon, the Chelsea would have submitted to Juventus an offer from 120 million euros for the Portuguese striker.

The Blues want to take advantage of the good relations between the agent of the five-time Golden Ball, Jorge Mendes, and the president Roman Abramovich to find an agreement, and now they are waiting for a response from the Juventus club. The offer for Ronaldo would be part of a plan for Londoners, who aim to return to dominance in England and Europe (Ziyech and Timo Werner have already insured themselves for the next season).

Juve for its part has always reaffirmed its desire to retain the ex-Real and Manchester United star, undisputed idol of the fans and driver of the team, until the end of the contract in June 2022, but such an offer, if confirmed, would be hardly refusable.

For days, rumors have been circulating about a downsizing of engagements by the Turin club, which would have put a ceiling after the crisis caused by the pandemic. The sale of CR7, with favorable figures, would free the Old Lady from her salary 30 million euros that the player perceives every year.
