The manager of the Italian champions, in the meeting which took place last Friday with the CEO of the Capitoline club, Guido Fienga, would have presented the official offer of the Old Lady for the Giallorossi midfielder, returning to the field after the long knee injury remedied last January.
The proposal, reports Tuttosport, would have been rejected by Rome. The club of the capital is in a clear fiscal yearning, with a red of over 100 million euros, but has no intention of depriving itself of one of its brightest talents, if not at a very high price, above 60 million euros.
Rome does not rule out however the inclusion of counterparts in the deal, which remains so for now despite the first no. But Juventus must hurry: Zaniolo is also followed by Liverpool, who could make an important offer to take him to Jurgen Klopp’s court, and from Inter.
Relations between Rome and Juve are good: the two clubs also discussed possible exchanges between Under-Romero and Mandragora-Cristante.
