Inter, shot for Hakimi: the Dortmund full-back a step away

Nerazzurri close to closing the deal for a figure of around 40 million. Achraf will not return to Real Madrid after the loan, Suning has a 5 million contract ready

Inter are a step away from Achraf Hakimi, the Moroccan right back owned by Real Madrid, who have been on loan to Borussia Dortmund for two years: he will be the first reinforcement on the flanks for Antonio Conte. Twenty-one years old, raised in the Madrid youth academy, Bayern and Manchester City liked it too, but the Nerazzurri manager is one step away from closing the deal by surprise: there is talk of a 40 million deal.

Devastating in the Champions League

Inter “discovered” it at his own expense in November in Dortmund, in the Champions League match won by Borussia. Hakimi was devastating and asphalted Biraghi: for him 2 goals and a game to remember. Which evidently convinced Conte too. But the whole Moroccan season has been at a very high level: 44 games and 9 goals are a top level booty. With Meunier’s arrival in Dortmund, there was no room for Achraf. Even in Madrid, however, Carvajal’s cumbersome presence would reduce the chances of playing as a protagonist: that’s why the future away from Real was to be considered practically certain. Now Inter have taken the shot: Hakimi is one step away.
