Huawei launches MatePad T8, the super cheap tablet from 99 euros


Huawei officially unveiled the new MatePad tablet today
T8, actually available for a few days in the store
brand at a particularly accessible price.

It is a
device designed primarily for entertainment and
leisure, equipped with 8 ” IPS LCD screen with HD resolution (800 x
1280 pixels)
, 16:10 ratio and 4.9mm thin bezels. On board it is
present the Mediatek MT8768 SoC, an OctaCore that goes up to 2.0
GHz, paired with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

Integrated RAM is 2GB,
while 16GB are available for internal storage,
expandable with microSD. Complete the connectivity side with Bluetooth
5.0, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac 2.4G and 5G
, micro USB 2.0 and LTE
MatePad T8 is
characterized by an aerodynamic metal shell with finish
sandblasted, to ensure a better grip, and weighs 310 grams. On the
rear is available a 5MP camera while the front camera,
designed primarily for video calling and unlocking with the
face, it is 2MP.

Interesting data
provided by the manufacturer on autonomy, the integrated battery from
5100 mAh promises up to 12 hours of video playback
and about 600 hours
in standby with screen off.

The tablet does not
will support Google Mobile Services but will be based on the store
Huawei Mobile Services owner. The interface is the last
Android 10-based version of the EMUI
which integrates a new one
