During a domestic dispute he threw a punch in the back of his neck to his 41-year-old Moldavian wife. Then, when the carabinieri arrived, the man, 39 years old, from Pieve di Cento, went on a rampage, shouting at her phrases like “Communist of m .., you’re not Italian, you don’t have a residence permit” and “long live the Duce”, indicating a bust depicting Benito Mussolini. The 39-year-old, with a history of drug and personal crime, was brought back to calm by the military who handcuffed him and led him to the barracks. Instead, the woman was transported to the emergency room and medicated to the head with a four-day prognosis. At the disposal of the Bologna Public Prosecutor’s Office, the 39-year-old was then taken to prison.

Furthermore, in the last hours the carabinieri intervened for two more episodes of family abuse and personal injury. In Castiglione dei Pepoli, in the Bolognese area, a 27-year-old was arrested for punching his girlfriend on the nose. It happened last night when two soldiers, free from service, realized that a boy was chasing a girl with a blood-covered face asking for help.

Reached by the police, the 24-year-old Italian girl was transported to the emergency room and medicated on the nose with a four-day prognosis, while her boyfriend, who was responsible for attacking her during the umpteenth fight, was accompanied to the barracks.

At the disposal of the Bologna Prosecutor’s Office, the young attacker, with specific and drug-related background, was detained in the security room, pending the validation hearing of the arrest.

The carabinieri of Bologna, however, arrested a 23 year old for beating his father, a 58 year old Moroccan and two brothers aged 18 and 15, during the umpteenth family dispute. Upon arrival of the military, the young man, accused of family mistreatment and personal injury, was handcuffed and, on the orders of the Bologna Public Prosecutor’s Office, was taken to prison.
