IMF: “5 challenges for Italy: from tax reform to bureaucracy” – Five challenges for Italy: from tax reform to bureaucracy. To indicate them is the director of the IMF, Kristalina Georgieva, during his speech to the General States. “There are five areas” that Italy should face and “I think it will do it efficiently,” he said. These are: “to reduce bureaucracy in the public administration; efficiency in investments; tax reform and their collection for a more inclusive and fair recovery; loosening of rules to improve competition; regional disparities”. “These challenges are well known and this moment should be taken as an opportunity to face them and move forward,” added Georgieva.
