This is one of the amendments to the text of the decree, which is currently being examined by the House Budget Committee.
It will not be the only measure to undergo changes, since they have been presented further 10,000 amendments to the text of the relaunch decree. In short, the measure could be subject to a real one makeover.
News also regarding the second homes and not only that: the idea is that of expand the audience of beneficiaries as much as possible, making the eco-bonus affordable for everyone.
Ecobonus 110% until 2022? The news coming soon
The text of the Relaunch decree is in the process of being converted, and is currently in the Budget Committee in the Chamber. Over 10,000 amendments have been tabled: there will be a skimming over the next few days.
As for the 110% eco-bonus, the facility that would allow citizens to make certain work at home for free thanks to the mechanism of the discount on the invoice and the assignment of credit, interesting news may be arriving.
The majority are working to make the already super measure even more powerful: the first step is lengthen its duration. For now, in fact, the 110% eco-bonus is valid for works carried out from 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2021.
To date, therefore, the concession is foreseen for 18 months, which are basically not many, considering the documents necessary to start the work and that in some seasons of the year it is very difficult for the interventions to proceed.
The amendment presented therefore provides that the 110% eco-bonus becomes effective for throughout 2022.
Ecobonus 110%, the new arrivals: the number of beneficiaries increases
The other way to boost the eco-bonus to 110% is to widen the audience of beneficiaries. For now, the proposal presented also includes:
- non-commercial entities;
- third sector;
- civilly recognized religious bodies;
- tourist facilities;
- amateur sports clubs.
In addition, efforts are being made to loosen constraints relating to interventions on buildings protected by cultural heritage. News also on second homes: for now, the eco-bonus can be used to do the jobs for free only if they are part of an apartment building, thus excluding single-family houses.
The amendments presented to the text of the relaunch decree, on the other hand, want to make sure that the new eco-bonus can also be used on second homes but only for two units per beneficiary, excluding luxury homes (therefore properties that fall into the cadastral categories A / 1, A / 8 and A / 9).
Finally, given that there is little missing on July 1st, the date that officially launches the eco-bonus, it has been proposed that to deliberate the works, the online condominium assemblies.
