A magnitude earthquake 3.5 occurred in the area of Cosenza, on the north western coast of Calabria, at 22:04. The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology reported it. The very deep epicenter was located on the island of Dino, in front of the town of Praia a Mare, in the area of Gulf of Policastro, in front of the Pollino National Park and south of the Cilento national park, 79 kilometers north-west from Cosenza and 89 km south of Potenza. The municipalities closest to the area are San Nicola Arcella, Scalea, Tortora, Santa Domenica Talao, Aieta, Maratea, Santa Maria del Cedro and Papasidero. There are currently no reports of injuries or damages.
