These are the figures – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the trend of the epidemic in the region.

It should be remembered that starting from 24 June 2020, the Ministry of Health has modified the system for collecting data on the spread of Covid-19. Positive cases are no longer indicated according to the province of notification, but based on the province of residence or domicile.
Below are the cases of positivity on the territory with the change compared to yesterday. There are 3,192 total cases to date in Florence (two more than yesterday), 532 in Prato, 747 in Pistoia, 1,051 in Massa, 1,351 in Lucca, 930 in Pisa, 477 in Livorno, 676 in Arezzo, 427 in Siena, 396 in Grosseto. There are 471 positive cases reported in Tuscany, but residing in other regions. Two more, therefore, the cases found today in the Central ASL, 0 in the North West, 0 in the South East.
Tuscany confirms its 10th place in Italy as a number of cases (including residents and non-residents), with about 275 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (Italian average around 398 x100,000, yesterday’s figure). The provinces of notification with the highest rate are Massa Carrara with 539 cases x100,000 inhabitants, Lucca with 348, Florence with 316, the lowest Livorno with 142.
Altogether, 306 people are in isolation at homebecause they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free (minus 1 compared to yesterday, minus 0.3%). I’m 2,025 (minus 18 compared to yesterday, minus 0.9%) people, also isolated, in active surveillance, because they had contacts with infected people (Asl Centro 549, North West 1.419, South East 57).
People hospitalized there are a total of 23 in the beds dedicated to Covid patients, 3 more than yesterday (plus 15%), of which 6 in intensive care (stable compared to yesterday).
The people altogether healed there are 8,817 (stable compared to yesterday): 266 people “clinically healed” (minus 15 compared to yesterday, minus 5.3%), that is, they became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection and 8,551 (plus 15 compared to yesterday, plus 0.2%) declared cured in all respects, the so-called viral healings, with double negative buffer.
Today there are no new ones deaths. Therefore, they remain 1,104 died from the beginning of the epidemic divided as follows: 405 in Florence, 51 in Prato, 81 in Pistoia, 164 in Massa Carrara, 141 in Lucca, 89 in Pisa, 61 in Livorno, 47 in Arezzo, 33 in Siena, 24 in Grosseto, 8 people died on the ground Tuscan but were resident outside the region.
The raw Tuscan mortality rate (number of deceased / resident population) for Covid-19 is 29.6 x100,000 residents against 57.6 x100,000 of the Italian average (11th region). As for the provinces, the highest mortality rate is found in Massa Carrara (84.2 x100.000), Florence (40.0 x100.000) and Lucca (36.4 x100.000), the lowest at Grosseto (10.8 x100,000).
