The numbers will not be as impressive as those of the start of the pre-Covid summers, but foreign tourists are returning. The Germans (and also the Austrians indifferent to the advice of their government), the British mad for bicycles, meet again. Young globetrotters, adventurous motorcyclists, retired campers arrive from abroad. For many, if not all, it is not just a holiday: it is a declaration of love for Italy. How not to interpret in this sense the choice of the Marinoff family, all from Munich? Grandfather Klaus, his wife Perfidia, their children Patrick and Carolin, their grandson Tristan. For forty years always on vacation in Jesolo, always guests at the Hotel Cavalieri Palace owned by Antonio Vigolo, 67 years old. It is he – who hosted the Marinoffs when Patrick and Carolin were in swaddling clothes – who tells the story of the trip to be here with us in Italy (indeed, on the beaches of Veneto) at dawn on June 3, end of the restrictions on Covid and annexed “green light” to regional transit. «Klaus left Stuttgart at midnight, went to pick up children and grandchildren in Munich. At six they were at Brenner and at nine here by me. At home, as I call my hotel. “Antonio speaks and is moved:” They are very close to Italy, to Veneto. Klaus told me that he wants to be the spokesman for what we are doing good … Words that have given me strength and hope. Do you think in Germany they thought that on the beach between each umbrella there were plezxiglass barriers. It will be up to Klaus to explain that tourists are always at the beach: that is, comfortable and revered. Welcomed by our traditional hospitality ».
