The number of daily infections from coronavirus in Italy it still records a drop, albeit slight, compared to a low number of swabs carried out: only 28,972. In fact, 218 people were positive in the last 24 hours, against 224 yesterday, for a total of 238,720 since the start of the pandemic. The contagion trend it thus remains stable at 0.09%. Of all cases, 143 are in Lombardy, or 65.5%, according to data from the Civil protection. Today I am 7 regions with zero increase: Puglia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sicily, Sardinia, Umbria, Aosta Valley and Basilicata.

They registered again 23 victims, stable compared to 24 yesterday, thus registering the lowest level since the beginning of March. In Lombardy on the last day there were 3 deaths, against 13 yesterday. The total number at national level therefore rises to 34,657.

However, the number of healed which, in the last 24 hours, have been 533, bringing the total since the beginning of the pandemic to 183,426. The increase had been 440 on Sunday. As a result, the number of currently positive the virus which stood at 20,637, 335 less than yesterday, when the drop had been 240. Numbers that lead to a further emptying of beds in the Covid wards. In intensive care 127 patients are now found, 21 fewer than yesterday. The sick hospitalized with symptoms they are instead 2,038, with a drop of 276 compared to yesterday, while those in home isolation they are 18,472, with a drop of 38 units.

So much so that there are nine regions that do not have ICU patients. These are Marche, Campania, Puglia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sardinia, Valle d’Aosta, Calabria, Molise and Basilicata. Resuscitation departments without patients Covid also in the autonomous province of Trento.

Lombardy, only 3 victims in the last 24 hours
There are only three new coronavirus deaths in Lombardy, the best figure since February 27 to date. The total death toll in the region thus rises to 16,573.
