In detail, there are a total of 233,515 cases of Covid-19 in Italy, with an increase of 318 in the last 24 hours (yesterday +178). Seven regions communicate zero new infected: Puglia, Umbria, Sardinia, Valle d’Aosta, Calabria, Molise and Basilicata. To these are added the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano. THE coronavirus patients in Italy they drop to 39,893, 1,474 less than yesterday. 1,737 others recovered which brings the total number of those who defeated Covid to 160,092.
There are 55 new victims, down from 60 yesterday. A number of dead it has not been so low since March 2, when it was 52. The deaths from Covid thus rise to 33,530. In the autonomous province of Bolzano and in 7 regions there were no victims: Marche, Umbria, Sardinia, Valle d’Aosta, Calabria, Molise and Basilicata. Patients admitted to hospital still drop intensive care: they are 408.16 less than yesterday. Of these, 166 are in Lombardy, one less than yesterday. On the other hand, 5,916 patients hospitalized with symptoms, with a decrease of 183 compared to yesterday, while those in home isolation are 33,569, with a decrease of 7798 compared to yesterday.
In the last 24 hours in Lombardy they have died 12 people because of Covid-19. This is one of the lowest data from the beginning of the epidemic. With 8,676 swabs, 187 new positives were recorded – an increase compared to yesterday, when there were 50 – for a total of 89,205. This is 58.8% of today’s increase in Italy. Of these, 45 were found in the metropolitan area of Milan, 12 in the city. The number of inpatients falls: 166 in intensive care, one less than yesterday, and 3,021 in the other wards (-64).
The data from Emilia-Romagna are reassuring. There are 19 new positives recorded today in the region, of which only 4 symptomatic, while 15 are asymptomatic. 20,780 (+163) recovered, over 74% of those infected since the beginning of the epidemic, – 156 sick, who have fallen below 3,000. 4,271 swabs were carried out, for a total of 333,629, plus 1,857 serological tests. Mild cases in isolation at home are 2,504 (-127), 86% of the sick. Inpatients in Covid wards drop to 358 (-25) and those in intensive care to 50 (-4). In the last 7 days in Emilia-Romagna 12 new deaths have been recorded, 8 men and 4 women, none in the provinces of Modena, Ferrara and Ravenna.

Pending the green light for the movement between regions (it will start at midnight today), from qualified sources we learn that Austria is willing to reopen the borders with Italy. It is not yet clear whether the green disk will concern all regions, or if the stop will remain for those where the epidemiological picture remains uncertain.
