Carminati released from prison: obligation to stay in his villa in Sacrofano

Massimo Carminati or the “Nero” as the ex Nar is renamed has the obligation to stay in his home in Sacrofano, at the gates of Rome. Pending the new appeal process which should be celebrated in September, Carminati will have to certify that he has not left his home. For the rest, the main defendant of the investigation known as Capital Mafia is free to move as decided by the Review Court in recent days.

“They recognized my right” “Nero” said the day after his release from Oristano prison. While his defenders, lawyers Cesare Placanica and Francesco Tagliaferri pointed out that their client has already served a third of the punishment foreseen for the crime of aggravated corruption. It should be remembered that, for Carminati, it is the aggravating mafia fell last October when the judges of the Court of Cassation ruled out the investigation into the Middle World (for which the ex Nar had been arrested) due to a serious corruption phenomenon, not a mafia one. Carminati was arrested right near his villa in Sacrofano on December 1, 2014.
