Antitrust lighthouse on banks, delays on mortgage stop – Last Hour


(ANSA) – ROME, JUNE 11 – The Antitrust Authority initiates 4 investigations and 12
moral suasion against sixteen between banks and companies
financial “for conduct relating to the suspension of
mortgage loans and the provision of new loans. The
investigations concern Unicredit, IntesaSanPaolo, Banca Sella and
Findomestic “for problems that emerged both on the absence of
timing information to access the various

information on the charges deriving from the suspension of the reimbursement
of the loans granted to companies, in terms of increase
of overall interests compared to the total originally
due as an effect of the extension of the plans

The Authority also started a moral suasion activity

Bank, Crédit Agricole, Credem, MPS, Banco Popolare di Sondrio,
