Deadlines Region by Region
Abruzzo. For the deadlines between 8 March and 31 May, the extension for the payment of car tax has been postponed to 31 July.
Basilicata. If the stamp expired between 8/03 and 31/05, the new deadline was set for 31/07.
Calabria. Here, too, the new deadline for stamp duty dropped in the time window of 8 March and 31 May has been moved to 31 July.
Campania. If the stamp expired between March 24 and May 31, the Region has scheduled the extension until June 30.
Emilia Romagna. For deadlines between March 1st and April 30th, the extension is at June 30th.
Lazio. The deadline for paying the stamp has been postponed to 30 June between 1 March and 31 May.
Liguria. The deadline for payment of the stamp expired between 8 March and 31 May has been brought up to 31 July.
Lombardy. For deadlines between March 1st and May 31st, the deadline has been moved to June 30th. In addition: a 15% tax discount is provided for motorists who have requested the payment of the car tax by withdrawal from the current account.

Marche. For the deadlines between 8 March and 31 May, the extension for the payment of the car tax has been postponed to 31 July.
Piedmont. The deadline for stamp duty expired between 1 March and 31 May has been brought up to 30 June.
Sardinia. The new deadline for stamp duty expired between 8 March and 31 May has been brought up to 31 July.
Sicily. Here even the deadline has been postponed to November 30 for all motorists whose stamp has expired between March 8 and October 31.
Tuscany. For the deadlines included between 8/03 and 31/05 the new deadline is 30/06.
Umbria. For the deadlines between March 8 and May 31, the new payment deadline will be July 31.
Veneto. The deadline for the stamp expired between 8 March and 31 May has been moved to 30 this month.
Discounts and exemptions in some regions
Some regions have in fact gone beyond the simple remodeling of the final payment terms. Therefore they introduced various exemptions and advantages. Especially for those who own ecological vehicles. Let’s see.
Liguria. Exemption from the stamp applies for all cars registered from 2016. But for the first 4 years and only if the car is a “hybrid” type.
Lombardy. Expected € 90 contribution for those who scrap their old vehicle. Furthermore, there is a 3-year exemption from the stamp if the new vehicle is a Euro 5 or 6 (petrol or biofuel) or hybrid. Finally: 50% discount for hybrids (even without scrapping) and hydrogen-free ones always exempt.
Marche. Zero car tax for 5 years but only for those who own a hybrid car.
Piedmont. Total exemption from stamp duty for those who own electric vehicles. But also with natural gas and LPG.
Tuscany. Exemption of stamp duty for 5 years for those who have vehicles with an electric motor.
Umbria. The stamp duty is discounted up to 75%. But only if the vehicle owned has an electric or gas-powered engine.
Valle d’Aosta. Electric vehicles do not pay stamp duty for the first 8 years. In addition, the hybrid or hydrogen ones, “only” for the first 5 years.
Finally the Veneto. Here there are 5 years of stamp exemption for electric or hybrid vehicles.
