Phil Spencer is optimistic about launching of Xbox Series X to late 2020. According to him, there will be enough units to meet demand despite the ongoing pandemic. The head of the Xbox division touched on the topic during the last episode of the new podcast of Reggie Fils-Aime, the former president of Nintendo of America recently passed on the other side of the barricade, that is the information one (at least occasionally) , answering a very direct question that asked if there were problems with the arrival of the new console.
Spencer: “We have faced some problems, but we are optimists on timing and arrival at the end of the year. Our supplies, we are also optimistic about those. Hardware side, we should be able to have enough units.”
It is not the first occasion in which Phil Spencer reassures about the state of the production of Xbox Series X and the fact that it will be ready for launch, so let’s imagine that there is no risk of a possible postponement. Now all that remains is to know which games are in production for the new console, in addition to those already presented, and to know if they have been delayed due to the pandemic in progress.
