Google has enriched its maps in order to report the places accessible by the 130 million people who are in the wheelchair in the world. The novelty is called “accessible places” and is available in the USA, the United Kingdom, Australia and Japan, with other countries arriving.

To take advantage of the new function, go to the settings and select the “accessible places” item. Once done, for each search made on Google Maps, wheelchair accessible places will be highlighted, from the bar to the cinema, from the restaurant to the museum.

Always on the front of accessibility, Google has presented Action Block, a new app for Android that allows you to create personalized keys for the smartphone home screen.

Designed for the elderly, for those with intellectual or motor disabilities, the app allows you to immediately have the most used functions on the screen, with a single touch, from video chat with the family to the weather and news.
