Given that it is not clear whether the video is based on the final version of the game or not, the author of the analysis makes it known how the version in his possession uses a dynamic resolution in both dock and portable mode. In the latter case the game runs at values between 378p and 540p while in TV mode the resolution it increases oscillating between 540p and 720p. Not really high values but apparently you could not go further to not compromise the framerate, stable at 30 fps.
You can see the video analysis above, pending the reviews of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, which should provide us with a definitely more complete view of the technical sector of the reproposition of a classic Monolith, initially released on Wii in 2011 and later re-proposed on Nintendo 3DS .
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition includes a new epilogue playable immediately, the latter (entitled Future Connected) alone is able to guarantee about 10/12 hours of play as stated by the producer during a recent interview.
