Valorant has a date of Exit officer on PC, and it’s closer than you think: the game will be available starting June 2, as announced by Riot Games.
The closed beta of Valorant, which we tried a few days ago, will close on May 28, a few hours after launch, to allow the development team to reset user accounts, integrate content patches and prepare for global release.
When the game is officially available, fans of the 5v5 tactical competitive shooter will be able to start from scratch, following the same line of progression as the other players on the globe.
“Our goal has always been to make VALORANT available almost anywhere in the world as soon as possible, and we can’t wait to do so on June 2,” said Anna Donlon, VALORANT’s Executive Producer in Riot Games.
“The launch brings with it higher standards and different expectations, and we will continue to dialogue with the players to honor our ten-year commitment with the global VALORANT community. This is only the beginning of our journey, it is not the goal.”
Further reinforcing their commitment to players, the VALORANT team will introduce new content, game modes, new agents and new maps shortly after launch.
To respond to the growth of the community, Riot, in its short-term roadmap, has also included among the priorities the addition of new game servers, in order to reduce the latency for VALORANT players: these new servers will be located in Atlanta , Dallas, London, Madrid and Warsaw.
Riot Games has already wanted to demonstrate its commitment to fans around the world by giving priority to the launch of the VALORANT Closed Beta in various global regions, despite the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
