Trump postpones G7 and also invites Russia – the Last Hour


(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, MAY 31 – American President Donald
Trump said he will postpone the G7 he wanted to end
June in the White House, after the German Chancellor Angela
Merkel declined her invitation to attend in person for
the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump plans to organize it now in September. President
American said he wants to invite Russia too – suspended
since 2014 for the annexation of Crimea – and other countries such as the
South Korea, Australia and India. One of his advisers has
explained that the idea would be to combine the traditional ones
allies to discuss China, which has become a rival country
strategic plan.
