Today, Wednesday 27th March, according to data released by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, there were no deaths due to Covid-19. But as the number of people recovering from the infection increases, the number of infected people does not stop, given that in Asti, as a percentage of the number of inhabitants, it is among the highest in Piedmont.
There are 16,479 virologically cured patients (+544 compared to yesterday): 1653 (+100) in the province of Alessandria, 788 (+48) in the province of Asti, 678 (+3) in the province of Biella, 1638 (+59) in the province of Cuneo, 1404 (+16) in the province of Novara, 8655 (+257) in the province of Turin, 709 (+26) in the province of Vercelli , 831 (+34) in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, 123 (-1) from other regions. Another 3,616 are on the mend, that is, negative for the first test buffer, after the disease and pending the outcome of the second.
There are 16 deaths of positive people at the Covid-19 test communicated in the afternoon by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which none currently registered today (the update also includes deaths occurred in the previous days and only subsequently ascertained as Covid deaths).
The total is now 3,828 deaths tested positive for the virus, divided as follows on a provincial basis: 635 Alexandria, 232 (+6) Asti, 203 Biella, 366 Cuneo, 332 Novara, 1691 Turin, 208 Vercelli, 125 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, as well as 36 residents outside the region, but died in Piedmont.
30,387 (+ 73 compared to yesterday, of which 28 detected in the RSA) have so far been positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont: 3,881 in the province of Alessandria, 1,802 (+12) in the province of Asti, 1032 in the province of Biella, 2756 in the province of Cuneo, 2675 in the province of Novara, 15498 in the province of Turin, 1288 in the province of Vercelli, 1108 in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola region, 254 residents outside the region but in charge of the Piedmontese health facilities. The remaining 93 cases are in the process of being elaborated and territorially assigned.
Intensive care patients are 68 (-2 compared to yesterday). There are 1118 non-ICU patients (-44). There are 5,278 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 298,571, of which 166,237 negative results.
