The Witcher 3 becomes more realistic with the HD Reworked Project 12.0 mod, as per video comparison –


The Witcher 3 continues to be the workbench of modders, who still work on a large number of projects, among which we find the interesting mod HD Reworked Project 12.0 Ultimate, of which we can see the improvements made in the new video comparison which shows one more realistic graphics.

The mod in question acts on various elements of the graphics of The Witcher 3, in general making it more realistic through the introduction of textures in higher resolution and reworked in order to have a more realistic rendering regarding materials.

As seen in the video, improvements rather evident they are visible on the models of the characters, both as regards the faces and the creation of clothes, weapons and armor, thanks to the improved rendering of fabrics, metals and faces. According to the description, it seems that the mod does not weigh excessively on the system occupying large portions of video memory, therefore it should not lead to worsening in terms of performance.

These are normal maps and high quality meshes, based on what the modders report, able to improve the general appearance of the graphics of The Witcher 3, in addition to increasing the level of detail and also reworking the appearance of some objects specific. The result is an overall improvement which however does not change it original graphic style of the game and should not lead to worsening on the performance front.
