In addition to the Tesi H2 (a muscular sports car where the 998 cc supercharged 4-cylinder in-line of the H2 is embraced by the Tesi chassis) Bimota is also working on the new KB4, a sports car with retro lines designed by the hands of the historical designer Bimota Enrico Borghesan. In January, a video teaser released by the company announced the arrival of the bike, then two photos published by the house that there “Exhibited” the progress of the work … but now there is more: a forklift of the new Bimota KB4 was pinched on the road by YoungMachine’s colleagues during the tests.

First of all, as you can see from the spy photos, we note that the bike is equipped with a hybrid frame that combines aluminum elements with steel tubes, inverted upside-down fork, rear shock absorber and double-arched aluminum swingarm. The front brake caliper is a monobloc type with radial mounting and the wheelbase of the bike seems to be quite compact. Unlike the fuel tank, which seems to be quite bulky. Curious the air intake that we see on the left side of the bike, which could be a lateral conveyor positioned to bring air to a backward radiator. There would seem to be a steering damper, but unfortunately the photos are not sharp enough to say it with certainty. We then find a round LED headlight, LED direction indicators and a single seat.

The tailpipe looks identical to that of the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX, but let’s remember that we are looking at a prototype and that the final model may be different.
