The evening prayer to be recited today 27 May 2020

“Welcome our intentions with benevolence” it is the evening prayer to be recited this Thursday to meditate on the past day and how we lived it.

We take a few minutes of our time to thank the Lord for how good or bad it happened today in our day.

We ask with faith that He will give us a peaceful night and a peaceful rest in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ meek and humble of heart, You who make the yoke gentle and the weight of your faithful gentle, welcome our intentions and the works of this day that comes to an end. Let the rest of this night make us even more generous in your service. You who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.

In the Name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Other prayers to end the day well

There are many other prayers that we can recite before going to bed to meditate on our day, to ask forgiveness from the Father. To serenely face the night that God willing will bring us, refreshed in soul and spirit to a new day.

Lord, make my gaze sharp, in this long journey of my earthly pilgrimage, so that know how to recognize Your light and let me illuminate it even in the darkest places of human suffering; thus my joy will be perfect, to the deepest, lowest point of Your incarnation. Amen

Father, Ave and Gloria.

Lord, Holy Father, hold us by the hand and give us a peaceful night and a peaceful rest. Amen

In the Name of the Father of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen
