BioShock: The Collection for Nintendo Switch will require a download extra at least 31 GB also for the physical version: 2K Games revealed it on its official store.
The publisher will indeed use one cartridge 16 GB for the collection, which however includes three different games: BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite, all in a remastered version.
The extra download should be linked to additional content, specifically the various DLC included in the package, but considering the amount of data we imagine that the issue goes beyond the expansions and concerns the actual titles.
“The game requires a download of at least 31 GB”, say the official information on the 2K Games store. “microSD required, sold separately.”
Presented with a trailer in March, BioShock: The Collection will be available on Nintendo Switch from May 29th.
