GTA 6 will probably not arrive before March 2021, in case someone hoped for a surprise exit for the highly anticipated Rockstar Games title, which according to the wildest corridor rumors could also be associated with the launch of PS5 and Xbox Series X, given that Take Two provides a fiscal year without big games.
Among the numerous reports that have emerged in the past few hours based on the financial results and the programs announced by Take Two, we can also draw this conclusion: GTA 6 will not be released in the coming months, at least not before March 2021, according to reports from the same publisher.
Take Two has intense market activity in store, with 93 games in production for the next 5 years, but during the financial meeting with which it presented the new results it also clearly said that it had foreseen a fiscal year 2021 free of large exits.
Undoubtedly, GTA 6 would be among the big releases of Take Two, being probably destined to be one of the biggest events ever in the gaming industry, therefore we can safely rule out that the launch of the game can take place within the fiscal year 2021, which for the company ends in March 2021.
Not that there were many doubts about it: on GTA 6 only rumors went around and there was still no official announcement from Rockstar Games, even particularly reliable materials have not been leaked, but many have started to associate the arrival of the next gen with the possible release of GTA 6, which according to some rumors could even represent a launch game of PS5 and Xbox Series X, which is quite contrary to the historical habits of Rockstar and its flagship series, which usually tends to take advantage of the console’s maturity period to express itself better.
Meanwhile, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 continue to post incredible sales, with 130 million copies and 31 million copies sold respectively.
