Board of Lega Pro with Gravina, found the solution: discounted the promotion of Monza, Vicenza and Reggina
Gravina understood the difficulties of the companies in having to start again and the lack of technical time, and thus substantially endorsed the Plan B proposed by the last Board. That is: the championship is not resumed, only playoffs and playouts are played. And the top three are promoted (Monza, Vicenza and Reggina) against the relegation of the last (Gozzano, Rimini and Rieti, plus Rende and Bisceglie for posting). In short, liked what the Noif say and what the Pro League had proposed. So 28 team playoffs and playouts (only in two groups, at this point) at 8 with the usual program. Only the endorsement (at this discounted point) of the next Federal Council is missing.
In the field
However, you have to wait for 8 to get the first official verdicts, while the teams that will have to play (including the Coppa Italia final) can start working seriously. And the re-start date should be June 28: calculating about 35 days to play all the playoffs, it will end almost together with the A in early August. Gravina told the Board that an economic contribution will also be made for the Lega Pro, both for members and clubs, to resume the activity. And then he reiterated that reform – although necessary – will be discussed again at the end of summer, once the alarm is over (hopefully), to put it into practice from 2021-22.
