Rome, ultra-light falls and catches fire: 2 young swimmers dead

An ultralight crashed this morning at the Crazy Flay flight school in Nettuno. The aircraft crashed near via Avezzano, igniting.

Two young Italian swimming champions, Fabio Lombini and Gioele Rossetti, lost their lives: the first, athlete of the Fiamme Rosse, second place in the Italian 400 category freestyle championships, was training in the federal center of Ostia, the other was instead part of the Aurelia Nuoto team.

The firefighters, the carabinieri of Anzio and Nettuno intervened on the spot.
